The 30th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF) kicks off on March 8, 2012 in locations all around the Bay Area. Presented by the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM), the festival will run for 10 days and features the best of Asian American collaboration in music, digital, and interactive media.

This year, Kollaboration San Francisco is extremely proud to co-present the premier of The Crumbles directed by Akira Boch. The film stars Katie Hipol as Darla, an overly serious musician, and Michelle Lee as Elisa, her free-spirited and long-lost best friend, as they struggle to get their funky indie band out of their garage. Throw in a little heartache, lots of awesome music, and of course beer, and bam we have a really fun adventure on our hands.

“THE CRUMBLES has been a true collaboration between artists of different backgrounds—filmmakers, actors, musicians—where the only real motivating factors have been to make a good film and have fun doing it.”

The Crumbles will be playing on March 10th and March 14th at the Sundance Kabuki Cinemas in Japantown. Get your tickets now because this fun little feature is sure to sell out both dates!
