Do you plans to attend the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) Film Festival this year?  If so, then you’ll love this: Kollaboration SF will be present at this year’s festivities!  This year, we have been honored to be co-presenting two of the films that will be showing this year; “Astro Boy” and “The Cheer Ambassadors.”

  “Astro Boys” (2009) brings about a silver screen adaptation of the original manga of the same name of a young robot with incredible powers created by a scientist following the death of his son.  A beautifully-executed film, it follow the young robot’s journey as he strives to find his place in the world, all the while with learning how to use his powers in preparation of fending off against oncoming alien invaders.  For a full synopsis, check it out on the CAAM website:

“The Cheer Ambassadors” (2012) goes in depth on the journey of Bangkok University’s cheering leading team to becoming the 2011 Cheerleading World Champions.  With choreographed stunts and incredible energy throughout, the film unveils just how and why they took Orlando, Florida by storm.  For a full synopsis, check it out on the CAAM website:

Interested in attending one or both these films?  Well look no further.  General screenings are $9.50 a ticket and for opening night, $30 for film screening only  ($5 off regular) and $43 for combo tickets, screening + gala ($12 off regular).  If you are in a group of 10 or more people, you qualify for the group discount.
