AADP Laugh for Lives 2012 is in motion!
Laugh for Lives 2012 will take place on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco. The list of performers includes, KT Tatara, Shawn Felipe, Danny Cho, and Eliot Chang. Your MC for the evening will be Mark Zhang along with with DJ RJ “Kool Raul”
Your support for LFL 2012 will help us increase the awareness of the need for more marrow/stem donors in the National Marrow Donor Program minority pool.
The idea for the comedy show was an inspiration from Allan Maravilla. Allan wanted to honor the memory of his cousin who had passed away from leukemia–his cousin was unable to find a marrow/stem cell donor. Since ethnicity is crucial to matching patients with donors, Allan decided that he wanted to set-up a comedy show that would attract primarily an Asian American audience, to draw more potential donors who are Asian/Asian Pacific Islander and multi-racial.
