“I’d like to invite you into my life where music is my therapy. My youtube subscribers know me as the dry-humored, islander musician. My friends consider me reliable and down for any video game challenge. To my family, I’m the “go-to” guy, the cook, and business savvy. My girlfriend says that I’m simply, the one. I have embedded my passion for composing and performing music in all of these relationships. It has become my staple. The most common question asked to any artist is, “How did you get to where you are, today?” With this common question, comes my very uncommon answer. While some people gradually work at their talent, others have a moment in life that defines their purpose. That moment, for me, came when my father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in high school. In order to understand the impact this had on my musical endeavors, you have to understand the level of influence my father had in my life. My dad, Tony, was the “go-to” guy, the barbecue-er, the glue that held the family together, the man that shaped my values. He had an immense amount of love for music, although he wasn’t vocally or instrumentally talented. He was the reason I picked up a ukulele, and was the person that encouraged me to explore my musical inclinations. I never fully challenged myself until he passed away. I owed it to him to really push my potential to find out how far I can stretch with my music. I started gaining inspiration to write my own songs, and perform for various crowds. The rest is unchartered territory… “
