KOLLABORATION GIVES ASIAN-AMERICANS A PLATFORM TO BREAK INTO THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 22, 2010) — On Saturday, April 10th, Kollaboration comes to the Bay Area. There are 9.4 million Asian Americans in the United States, but this demographic is largely cast in few and minor roles in the media. Kollaboration provides the Asian American community a platform to perform and gain exposure in an otherwise underrepresented entertainment industry. The talent competition will take place at the Palace of Fine Arts where judges like GLEE’s Harry Shum Jr. and America’s Got Talent finalist Hans Cho will award the winner a $1,000 prize.
Kollaboration SF, in conjuction with Tartini Frozen Yogurt in Cupertino, is holding their second fundraiser March 12-16th.
Get some delicious frozen yogurt anytime during those dates and Tartini’s will donate 10% of your total to Kollaboration SF! (Remember to leave your receipt in the designated box!)

Kollaboration San Francisco is excited to announce two additional guests for our API Talent Competition on April 10th!
- HANS CHO of Tatum Jones will be joining our guest judge panel, alongside Glee star Harry Shum Jr, rapper Kero One, label manager Christina Luna and more.
- Sway Penala, semi-finalist from American Idol Season 5 is confirmed as our newest guest performer!
