Kollaboration is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a strong Asian and Pacific Islander (API) presence in entertainment and media. Kollaboration was founded in 2000 by Executive Director Paul “PK” Kim, and in each of its 13 cities, is managed and operated by young API professionals and students.
At the core of Kollaboration is its mission of “Empowerment through Entertainment.” In addition to its annual showcases, Kollaboration also seeks to empower APIs by providing a creative outlet for at-risk youth, offering a platform for better communication between multi-generational, multi-cultural families, and fostering strong API community relations.
